HOW TO GET A VISA FOR TÜRKIYE?

Citizens of fifteen countries are allowed to enter Türkiye with their national identification cards (IDs). These countries are Germany, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta, Portugal, Ukraine, and Greece.

Citizens of thirty-eight countries can obtain e-Visas online in approximately three minutes by clicking the following link: www.evisa.gov.tr

It is possible to obtain an e-Visa 7/24 from anywhere with an internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after filling the necessary information concerning their identity, passport, and travel dates, and paying the visa fee online.

If you have a valid visa, you do not need a residence permit for up to 90 days. On the other hand, foreigners who plan to reside, work, or study in Türkiye, should register at the nearest local police department upon their arrival in Türkiye, regardless of their visa validity.

Information on a Working Visa: To work in Türkiye, you must apply to the nearest Turkish mission to obtain a work permit and visa. Your passport, visa application form, and a letter from your employer are the necessary documents for your application. Other documents should be submitted to the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) by your employer within ten working days after your application.

HOW TO GET A FAST AND RALIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION

To get an internet connection in your home, you will need to contact a service provider and install one.

All the primary internet providers of Türkiye offer ADSL connections. Fiber connections are available in larger cities and along the coast. It might be more economical to sign up for a combined package (telephone and internet).

There are many options for connection packages. Packages are available for a period of one month to two years. Prices vary and the subscription process for expats who are homeowners or renters is relatively straightforward: proof of identity (residence permit) and a recent utility bill.
